Therapeutic Oasis hired BlueIvy Communications to launch an integrated marketing and PR campaign while expanding beyond Boca Raton to new locations, the first of which was in Jupiter. Therapeutic Oasis needed positive attention and exposure to promote their Jupiter Grand Opening by building greater brand visibility from Ft. Lauderdale to north of Jupiter.
Therapeutic Oasis also wanted to increase brand awareness & client engagement throughout South Florida counties ranging from north Broward to south Martin. Their messaging was that they are the therapists that can treat the complex cases – those that involve trauma, disordered eating, PTSD and other wide-ranging aspects of mental health, especially in children.
Through a combination of proactive public relations and communications activity, BlueIvy Communications successfully created buzz around the Grand Opening of the new Jupiter location through social media, local community partners, press releases and media placements. For example, one therapist appeared on NBC 5 WPTV to discuss the pressure on high-achieving children, while three other therapists, including Oasis’ co-founder appeared multiple times throughout Mental Health Awareness week discussing various topics on CBS12 WPEC and NBC 5 WPTV. For the event, BlueIvy created a holiday newsletter and brochure so attendees would have further promotional material to take home. The event, which included a ribbon-cutting with the mayor of Jupiter, was highly successful and was highlighted on the cover of the Palm Beach Post.
Utilizing public relations and communications activity, BlueIvy Communications established Therapeutic Oasis as the respected authority on all things mental health, therapy and health & wellness. For example, during the holiday season therapists discussed everything from emotions during the season, what it’s like to be sober during the holidays, how to get through the stress of it all, and how to deal with the post-holiday blues over a range of outlets, including: NBC 5 WPTV, Gateway Gazette, West Boca Times, Boca Times and the Palm Beach Post. To generate brand awareness, we developed new collateral materials and online content, including: professional headshots for the entire staff and interior of both locations, quarterly newsletter, monthly blog, revamped website and expanded web content. When the coronavirus pandemic struck, Therapeutic Oasis focused on coping with the new normal in family and work life, and the mental health toll it took on everyone, in various outlets including: CBS 12 WPEC, NBC 5 WPTV, FOX 29 WFLX, Palm Beach Post, Delray Sun, Gateway Gazette, West Boca Times, The Villager, Riverside Times, Boca Times, Pier Review and Sun Sentinel.
