To launch Amplifi’s growth-through-acquisition growth strategy, BlueIvy was brought on board in Q1 of 2021 and tasked with announcing the Amplifi acquisition of Comma Group to media to promote Amplifi’s growing global capabilities and marketplace leadership. The first mission was to develop a press release and media rollout to announce Amplifi’s acquisition of Comma Group, a data management leader in the U.K. and E.U. BlueIvy also helped craft new website copy and supporting email blasts – to help engage customers. The broader goal was to position Amplifi’s new global brand identity and leadership in the data management space.
As a corporate leader, Corey Mellick has a fascinating story to tell. Literally a former rock star, who played guitar for popular bands with international followings, Corey’s story of musician-turned-data management-executive has all the elements of a stellar business profile. The BlueIvy media team did its magic and procured a profile of Corey in D Magazine, a leading lifestyle and business publication, which named him an Innovator in its Dallas Innovates section.
During Q2 2021, BlueIvy continued to capitalize on the Comma Group acquisition to reinforce messaging on what Amplifi’s growth means to the industry, worldwide. Focusing on promoting Amplifi CEO Corey Mellick’s thought leadership, the BlueIvy writing team developed bylined content and strategically pitched and placed it in publications that reached a wider audience than what they had achieved previously. Placements in MarTech and Legal Technology News (Law.com) followed and nicely showcased Corey’s achievements in data management and positioned Amplifi as a thought leader in the space.
In less than six months, BlueIvy’s publicity efforts successfully launched Amplifi’s global growth strategy, established the brand’s international leadership, and turned its CEO into a known local entity. The agency’s savvy combination of trade and business placements showcased Amplifi’s leadership in data management, making the BlueIvy team PR rock stars in their own right.
