BlueIvy Communications, a Delray Beach based public relations and communications agency, partnered with the Greater Delray Beach Chamber of Commerce in February to host a special “Delray Beach Open themed” Delray Morning Live Show. The live show, which focused on the business of the Delray Beach Open and the women-owned businesses responsible for branding and promoting the event during its 30th anniversary, featured the following guests: BlueIvy founder and president Melissa Perlman, Campbell Creative founder and creative director Courtney Campbell, as well as Delray Beach Open Executive Director John Butler.
As the Official Public Relations Agency of the Delray Beach Open by VITACOST.com, BlueIvy was responsible for creating media opportunities and securing media placements for all off-court happenings and events. Campbell Creative, meanwhile, was the Official Creative Agency of the Delray Beach Open, and responsible for creating the feel and design to celebrate 30 years of tennis in Delray Beach. Both founders, Melissa and Courtney, respectively, spoke to Delray Beach Morning Live hosts Jamael Stewart and Amanda Perna about being locally based female founders yet still offering their clients international experience and talent.
John Butler then joined the program and shared his great expectations for the tournament, the exciting tennis to be played, and the various off-court events hosted throughout the 10-day event. One such event John previewed was the Chamber Bash, which was hosted by both the Delray Beach and Boca Raton chambers and sponsored by BlueIvy Communications.
This year’s 30th Delray Beach Open by VITACOST.com broke attendance records over and over again throughout the week and was featured in thousands of media outlets (print, online, broadcast and beyond). BlueIvy is proud of our work over the past few weeks and months leading up to the Delray Beach Open. Yet, we are just as proud of our growing relationship with partners like the Greater Delray Beach Chamber of Commerce and the Delray Morning Live show.
Thank you once again for giving us the opportunity to be in front of the camera (a rare occurrence!) and we look forward to continuing our special relationship for years to come!
